Electronics Diagnostics & Repair
A clear next step when an electronic fault stops productive equipment.
Your equipment has a job to do. When a control module fails, a power supply shuts down, or the same fault keeps returning, you need to know whether a practical repair is possible.
Guardian investigates electronic faults in selected commercial and industrial equipment, with a focus on removable modules we can functionally test.
Discuss an Electronic FaultPaid diagnostic assessments. Scope and fee quoted after initial review. Repair work quoted separately.

Electronic problems worth investigating
Obsolete control modules
A replacement is unavailable, unsupported, or would mean replacing otherwise usable equipment. We review the module, available information, and how its operation could be tested.
Power supplies & chargers
Equipment shuts down under load, behaves intermittently, or damages replacement parts. We review the symptoms and operating conditions to define useful electrical tests.
Intermittent equipment faults
Repeated parts replacement has not resolved the problem. A scoped investigation can examine when the fault appears, relevant measurements, and how the electronics interact with the machine.
Start with a defined assessment
Findings you can act on
Before paid work begins, we agree on the diagnostic scope, fee, and available testing. Acceptance depends on the equipment, service information, and a practical way to evaluate the fault.
The assessment provides documented findings and a recommended next step, even when repair is impractical. Further investigation or fixture development requires an agreed scope.
What you receive
- The reported symptoms and conditions examined.
- Tests performed, measurements, and findings, including what remains uncertain.
- Repair feasibility and the limits of available testing.
- A useful next step: a repair quote, further testing, or a replacement recommendation.
Repair begins only after you approve the separate repair quote.
Understand the fault. Verify the work.
A repair needs a way to test the result
Replacing a failed component is only part of the work. We investigate possible causes and agree on functional checks for any proposed repair. The repair record documents the work performed, test conditions, results, and remaining limitations.
Schematics, service manuals, firmware access, connected equipment, or a known-good unit may be needed. Some modules cannot be meaningfully tested on their own. We review these requirements before accepting work and discuss any limits before proceeding.
Guardian brings equipment experience since 1997 across mechanical and electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, and software. If the job needs a fixture or interface, explore our custom test hardware capabilities.
Start with your equipment
Tell us about the fault
Send the equipment make and model, module or part number, symptoms and when they occur, previous repairs, replacement availability, your location, and desired timing. Photos and service documentation help us review the job.
We will review the information and discuss fit, scope, and next steps. Arrange acceptance and delivery details before shipping or dropping off equipment.
Looking for battery testing? Use the separate battery evaluation request. Electronics diagnostics is a paid service with its own agreed scope.
